I'm Maggie, the artist at the center of Artifact. I have been a full time artist since 2017. Finding and evolving my sense of style has been one of the biggest challenges of being a fine artist. Along the way I found my niche in fiber art, and have since evolved into mostly mixed media work.

I find inspiration in nostalgia, simplicity, and everyday things that bring me joy. I love to juxtapose these elements in my work using my folk-meets-funk style. You won't find every day art here; I believe the pieces we adorn our walls with should truly resonate with us and serve more purpose than to simply fill space.

I hope you can find something uniquely inspiring here in my little corner of the internet.
